Latest News1st May 2013 : Colouring competition winners announced See the winners of our Easter colouring competition. 12th March 2013 : Colouring competition Enter our colouring competition. Entries can be submitted on 31st March or 1st April. 2nd July 2012 : Gourmet Food & Wine Fair this Saturday Come to the Gourmet Food & Wine Fair at Bromham Mill on Saturday 7th July, 10.30am-4.30pm. Browse and buy at over 20 stalls showcasing local producers. Learn the art of pasta making with the Casa Fellini Italian Cookery School (11am & 2pm), or discover and try sensational and unusual wines with Master of Wine Derek Smedley (12.30pm &3.30pm) in our food theatre sessions. Admission is £3 for adults, £2 concessions, children under 16 free. To be sure of a seat, food theatre events can be booked in advance, priced an additional £5 each, either via Warden Abbey Vineyard or at Cambridge Wine Merchants in Ampthill. 29th April 2012 : Guided tours on National Mills Weekend As part of National Mills Weekend on 12/13 May the Friends will be giving free guided tours of Bromham Mill. 29th April 2012 : Colouring competition We've announced our winners for the Easter colouring competition. 28th March 2012 : Colouring competition Enter our colouring competition. For more information about the Nature club click here. 26th November 2011 : Santa came to Bromham Mill! See pictures of our recent Christmas event here. 20th November 2011 : Santa coming to Bromham Mill Come and see Santa in his enchanted grotto inside the Mill. Saturday 26th November, 12:30-3:30pm. 22nd May 2011 : Duck Race Results Our 2011 Duck Race was even bigger than last year. If you came along then thanks for supporting us. You can see the winning ducks and look at photos of the event here. 30th January 2011 : Children's Nature Club Due to launch in April and to run throughout the summer opening of Bromham Mill is the children’s nature club. Children will be able to sign up for membership and come along to a programme of events that will take place throughout the year. Children under 10 need to be accompanied by an adult. Final details are not yet available but events will include nature walks around Bromham Mill, making nest boxes and weather instruments. And, of course, you'll be able to keep in touch with what's going on through the Nature Site 30th January 2011 : Latest Newsletter released Read our latest newsletter 28th December 2010 : Wedding/Celebration Fayre - 26/27 March 2011 A perfect opportunity to find local professional suppliers for your tailor made celebration. You will also be able to find out more about hosting your event at the Mill or in the Mill grounds. More details will be posted on the website closer to the event. 13th November 2010 : Christmas at Bromham Mill Our Christmas event will run on Saturday 27th November, 1-4pm. Loads of family entertainment including Santa's grotto. 12th November 2010 : Watercolour competition We are pleased to announce our watercolour competition with a first prize of £100. See here for more details. 12th September 2010 : Audio tour now available Visitors can now hear about the mill, its machinery and history with our new audio tour, now available at the Mill. Even regular visitors will be fascinated and entertained by this new facility. 29th August 2010 : New guide booklet and audio tour From this bank holiday weekend, anybody visiting Bromham Mill will be able to find out more about the mill and its history. The friends have published a new guide booklet which is packed with interesting information. On 29th August, we're also running a free trial of our new audio tour so why not come along and try it out. 20th August 2010 : Read our new Nature Site The mill is a fabulous site for spotting wildlife, with regular sightings of a wide variety of birds, and mammals (including Otters and Badgers). To keep up to date, why not take a look at our new Nature Site which we will use to record any sightings and, where possible, show photos. You can also sign up for email updates.
